Women’s Bible Study

Looking for an opportunity to grow in God’s Word and for fellowship with other women? We’d love to have you join our Women’s Bible Study! We meet at Trinity on the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 to 10:00 am.

Each year we choose a different book as our study guide. For 2025 – 2026 we will be reading Take Heart: God’s Comfort for Anxious Thoughts by Lindsay Hausch.

Take Heart, God's Comfort for Anxious Thoughts by Lindsay Hausch

Real life can be a real mess.

This book won’t tell you that your anxious thoughts will go away if you have more faith or that your anxious thoughts are indicative of spiritual immaturity. Instead, author Lindsay Hausch is here to remind you that our God meets us where we are. Readers will be enriched with the truth of the Lord and know His power is made perfect in weakness.

So, take heart. We’re made whole in love.

If you’d like to join the Bible Study, please email Erika at erika.ohlendorf@gmail.com for a copy of the book.

“So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17

One blessing that comes from a women’s Bible study is fellowship with other women. Some subjects are easier to talk about with only women present, but we know we should always be careful to guard our lips (Exodus 20:16, Psalm 141:3). We can lift each other up in prayer and point to what scripture says. We use a book with study questions to guide our discussions. Along with the blessing that comes from hearing God’s Word in Worship, pastor-led Bible studies, and personal study of scripture, Women’s Bible Study is an opportunity to have our faith strengthened through hearing God’s Word.
