Women’s Bible Study
Looking for an opportunity to grow in God’s Word and for fellowship with other women? We’d love to have you join our Women’s Bible Study! We meet at Trinity on the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
Each year we choose a different book as our study guide. For 2024 – 2025 we will be reading “Measured by Grace: How God Defines Success” by Sharla Fritz
How does God measure success?
In the Bible, you’ll find no lack of sinfulness, shortcomings, rejections, and broken people. People like Joseph, Rahab, David, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, The Samaritan Woman, Peter, and Paul. Yet, we don’t think of these people as failures. Rather, we see them as people God transformed, turning their lack into faithfulness for His good.
Study these eight biblical figures to see that God does the same for you. He takes what you or society perceives as failure and transforms you for His plan. God does not judge based on earthly standards. No blunder is too big for him. No mess-up is beyond repair. His goodness goes beyond and turns your missteps into miracles.
If you’d like to join the Bible Study, please email Erika at erika.ohlendorf@gmail.com for a copy of the book.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12
“So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17
One blessing that comes from a women’s Bible study is fellowship with other women. Some subjects are easier to talk about with only women present, but we know we should always be careful to guard our lips (Exodus 20:16, Psalm 141:3). We can lift each other up in prayer and point to what scripture says. We use a book with study questions to guide our discussions. Along with the blessing that comes from hearing God’s Word in Worship, pastor-led Bible studies, and personal study of scripture, Women’s Bible Study is an opportunity to have our faith strengthened through hearing God’s Word.
